How much does it cost?

Fastbreak Mobile does not charge you anything to receive our mobile headline updates however your phone carrier probably does! If you already have a data plan that covers text messaging then you may not get charged anything extra to receive our mobile headline updates however we strongly recommend checking to see how much your carrier charges for picture messages.


How do I subscribe to get an RSS Feed to my phone?

Go to the Add Feed page. In the 'feed url' field enter the url of the RSS feed you want to receive to your phone. In the 'keywords' field enter keywords to filter on. Only stories containing these keywords will be sent to you. (Leave the field empty to recieve all stories.) Select the time range during which you would like to recieve alerts and the maximum number of alerts you want from this feed per day. Finally, select the type of link you want to recieve and you're done!


How do I change the number of messages or the times I can recieve them for a feed I am already subscribed to?

Go to the My Account page and click 'Edit' next to the feed you want to update. On the preferences page simply change the 'Max Messages' field or the 'Alert Times' fields and click 'Submit'.


I have an RSS feed on my site. How do I let my readers sign up to get my posts to their phones?

Go to the Button page and enter the URL for your RSS or Atom feed. Then just select the button image you'd like to use and you can grab the HTML snippet from the bottom of the page and add it to your site or blog!


How do I unsubscribe from a feed that I am currently subscribed to?

Go to the My Account page and click on the [x] next to the feed you wish to unsubscribe from.


I have an account but I can't get messages to my phone. What should I do?

Before you are able to recieve messages you will need to activate your phone. Go to the Login page and login. Once logged in you will be sent to the activate page. Follow the instructions there to activate your account and start getting your news directly to your phone.
